To enhance the value of your recovered water and process chemicals, ThermoEnergy combines technologies such as nanofiltration, reverse osmosis and ion exchange with the CAST process to remove dissolved impurities. Among the separation technologies we commonly use are:

Nanofilters

If your wastewater contains heavy metals, dissolved organics, dual and multivalent ions, high fouling compounds and acids, we recommend a combination of pre-treatment and nano-filtration to remove these impurities prior to resource recovery with the CAST. This enhances the value of the recovered water.

Reverse Osmosis

For high removal efficiencies, ThermoEnergy combines our CAST technology with reverse osmosis technology. These systems are perfect for removing a broad range of dissolved solids in many applications, including:
